Hello and welcome to Wednesday! I don’t have much to say so I’ll just get right along to the card I’m sharing today. I got some Amy Tangerine papers recently and whipped this card up last week. It came together very quickly – I love these kinds of cards!! Well that’s it for me today. I hope you’re having a great week!! :)

Hello friends! I have another encouragement card to share today. This one has some of my favorite Lily Bee Designs patterned paper on it. I *love* LBD papers!! I kept this card pretty simple. My new favorite embellishments are the tiny laser cut wood pieces from Studio Calico. I only have the stars and butterflies, but I want them all!! :)

I had some free time so I thought I would get a challenge done today. I don’t participate in challenges often, but I like to when I can. I was in the mood to make a baby card, so I played along with the Be Inspired challenge and used one of my favorite baby sets, Priceless Joy.
I was inspired not only by the colors, but the bird too!
I used the face of the bumble bee in the set as the bird’s nest. I just inked it up and then wiped off the ink on the eye and then stamped. The bird is paper pieced and popped up.
Supplies used Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (Priceless Joy) Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white, kraft, fine linen, canyon clay, spring moss) Patterned Paper: Lily Bee Design (Butterscotch and Head Over Heals collections) Ink: Jenni Bowlin (brown sugar) Accessories: May Arts (jute twine) Tools: Stampin Up (scallop border punch)You Are Fabulous!
So yesterday I had what I think has been the most productive day I’ve had in a really long time! I got some “work” stuff done, applied for a couple of jobs, made a couple of cards and started on a couple design team assignments. I also did some clean-up and re-organizing of my craft area. All of this was fueled by a couple cups of coffee throughout the day. :) I’m starting my day today with coffee in hope of a repeat of yesterday!
I have a standing Monday “date” with a couple of crafty friends each week. This past Monday I made a couple of cards for the Gallery Idol contest Paper Crafts mag is putting on. This is one of those cards… I’m also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Clean & Simple challenge.

It’s my day over on the Buttons Galore & More blog. I have a friendship themed mixed media canvas I created that I’m sharing today. I would love it if you popped on over and checked it out. It’s my first time creating something like this!
