Wednesday Unity Challenge

This morning the fab girls over at the Unity forums on Splitcoast hosted a challenge today to make a card using the Unity colors for our inspiration. It nearly took me all day to get this card together, so here it is!

I used today’s sketch challenge as my starting point in addition to the brown/aqua colors of Unity. The gorgeous butterfly stamp comes from Unity’s Butterfly Beauty kit. I sponged the center of the butterfly using Creamy Caramel then sponged the outside edges using Taken with Teal. The strip of brown polka dot dp comes from the yummy new SU designer paper, Bella Rose. The shimmery aqua paper is a scrap left over from last year’s Christmas cards ~ got to love it when you can use something super old!! Thanks for reading, come back and see me again!

Stamps: Butterfly Beauty, Flirty Flowers (Unity)
Paper: PTI white, Whisper White, Creamy Caramel, shimmer aqua, Bella Rose dp
Ink: Creamy Caramel, Taken with Teal
Accessories: brads
Technique: sponging, sewing
