The Six Chicks are Kid-Friendly!

Good morning and Happy Tuesday! Every month the Lightlight Papercrafts Six Chicks get together and post a project featuring a similar theme. This month our task was to create something to do with kids or for kids. I thought it would be fun to create favors for a children’s birthday party – so I made FLUBBER!!!

Flubber is really easy to make – it only requires some Borax, Elmer’s Glue and warm water – that’s it! If you want to make some for your kids – you can find the recipe HERE. Just for fun I added some Pixee Stix Silver Berry glitter to the mix. If I were to make it again I would choose a color other than silver as it doesn’t show up very good!

I fashioned a cute little box by modifying the directions for the peek-a-boo box found HERE. The designer paper is from the Cupcake line by BasicGrey. The cutie pie owl and sentiment comes from the Pink Cat Studio set Q.T. Hooty Owl. I used a bit of red Stickles on the balloon too.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the Limelight Papercrafts design team to see what they’ve come up with for kids! (See links over to the right!!! —> )
