Limelight Papercrafts – a Challenge!

One of my favorite things about being a part of the Limelight Papercrafts design team is participating in the bi-weekly sketch and product focus challenges. This week our task was to make a card using this sketch and using FLOWERS! Primas, floral patterned paper – anything that has to do with flowers!

I know I’ve mentioned this before but flowers are just not my friend so this was definitely a challenge for me. I was able to get around using Primas and focused on using a floral dp from BasicGrey’s Euphoria line and a Unity Stamp Co quote that has tiny flowers bordering the quote.

I started my card by inking up the Creating Yourself stamp in Pretty in Pink then I used my Stampin Up markers to color over the flowers and leaves in Real Red and Tempting Turquoise to match the dp. I accented the flowers with red rhinestones as well as on the 2 butterflies at the bottom of the card.

Now the FUN part!  We would love it if you played along with us and just to say thanks, everyone who does play along will be entered into a random drawing to win some Prima flowers from Limelight Papercrafts.  Here are the deets you need to play along:

* Sketch and Product Challenge with a focus on using flowers!
* Uploads to SCS should have the keyword: LLPC015.
* Participants should post a comment and a link to their card here on MANDY’S blog.
* All entries must be submitted by Sunday, February 22nd, at midnight

And don’t forget this ALL THIS WEEK at Limelight Papercrafts, save 10% off your entire order.  Just enter PRESIDENT when you check out.  LP has both new lines of BasicGrey and TONS of Unity Stamps!!
