Featured Friday Guest Designer For…

DRS Designs! A few months ago I tried out for a guest designer spot for DRS Designs. While I didn’t make it, I was contacted to be a Featured Friday Guest Designer and today is my day! I’ve got some sneaky-peeks of a couple of new stamps that are being released around June 13.

My first card is definitely for someone with a sense of humor! I think this sentiment is so funny!

And here is the inside of the card…

All stamps are from DRS Designs. The Balls to Golf saying can be purchased from their online catalog and the golf course image will be available around June 13th!

My next project is something that I worked really hard on and am completely THRILLED by how it turned out! I thought this would be a fun little gift to use for a co-worker’s birthday, your boss or even for Father’s Day…

While looking for directions on how to make a bag-a-lope, I ran into a template for the golf tee holder I made. If you are interested in making your own, you can find the template HERE.  I opted to add a panel inside to write your message in so this is also your card!

The box made to hold the golf balls was something I fashioned while using the original packaging the balls came in for a guideline. After figuring out the dimensions and scoring the sides, I used a ruler and an exacto knife to cut out the centers of the panels and replaced them with acetate. I wrote down my figures to make the box so maybe I’ll throw up a tutorial over the weekend if anyone is interested???
