Back-to-School with Limelight Papercrafts

** 2 of 2 posts today – scroll down for other post **

Today marks the 6th of August and just like every month on the 6th, it’s time for the Limelight Papercrafts design team to unveil our big projects for the month. This month Mandy at Limelight challenged us to a Back-to-School theme which is so fitting for this month! We could choose to make something for either a teach or a student. I went with teacher for my project today.

I was originally going to make a little paper backpack but I did them last winter for a craft show and wanted to try something new. So while thinking of all things school related, I kept coming back to a big yellow school bus. Using the basic pieces of a 3×3 box pattern found on SCS and a drawing of the front of a bus, I came up with a cute mini note card holder for a teacher.

And here is one of the mini note cards…

I’ve used October Afternoon Cherry Hill dp, May Arts silk ribbon, Kaisercraft pearls and Ranger Glossy Accents for the headlights – all of which can be found at Limelight Papercrafts!

Thanks for stopping by today :)
