Happy Saturday and most importantly: Happy 1 year birthday to the Etsy Inspired Challenge!! I was privileged to be a part of the inaugural design team. I had such a great time and adore Ashley to pieces so of course I wanted to participate in this SUPER fun event! If you’ve come across my blog NOT through the hop, why not start at the beginning back at Ashley’s blog HERE.
The store I’ve chosen for my Etsy-inspired card is this FABU storefront of whimsical images and vibrant colors from Lauren Alexander. While searching Etsy to find my inspiration, as soon as I came to this shop I was stopped in my tracks! I fell in love instantly with the images. I have a sneaky feeling some of these will end up in my possession. I have a new craft room with lots of bare walls. Once it’s completed I will be making a purchase for sure!
Here is the specific piece I drew my inspiration from. It’s called Theory of Relativity by Lauren Alexander. Isn’t it just marvelous?!?
And here is my card…
To make the tree I started by stamping a leaf stamp from My Cute Stamps in different colors of ink then I pieced them together on top of a Shimmerz painted chipboard tree from Maya Road. The lovely crotched ribbon is from Making Memories Flower Patch collection. Card stock from Papertrey Ink (of course!) :)
And now it’s YOUR turn!! That’s right! We’ve got some fabulous Scor-Pal prizes to give away and you KNOW they are calling your name! To be eligible to win, pick ANY Etsy shop and find your inspiration. Make a card, project, altered art, whatever! Just be INSPIRED and you can win!! Please link your creations to the new Etsy Inspired blog located HERE!
Now to continue along with the hop, next you should go visit KERRY. You can jump to her blog HERE!
How much FUN is this card!!?!?
