This week’s Clean and Simple challenge on SplitcoastStampers is a sketch challenge based on THIS card by Charlene Driggs. I took a little liberty with the sketch in making the long panel across the middle skinny and punched out some of the image panel to suite the design I was going for. Overall I love how it turned out although I wish the transition from the orange to the light orange dots was more noticeable. The color scheme was inspired by the latest challenge from Embellish Magazine.
Stamps: Polka Dot Basics (Papertrey Ink); Butterflies and Blossoms (Little Paper Shop) |
Paper: Papertrey Ink (cream); Stampin’ Up! (pumpkin pie) |
Ink: Stampin’ Up! (bravo burgundy, pumpkin pie, more mustard) |
Accessories: Kaisrecraft rhinestones (bronze); Nestabilities by Spellbinders (labels four) |
another great card!
