Trick or Treat!

Hello and welcome to another installment of the Product and Sketch sponsored by LLPSketch 10-1-09Limelight Papercrafts!  These week our theme is TEXTURE! Now texture comes in all shapes in sizes.  It can be as small as little dots made with Stickles (ahem…), Fun Flocked birds or how about some of the new Basic Grey Woolies that Limelight is carrying?!?  All of these great way to add some texture to your projects :)  Here is the sketch we have to work with this week.  I love that we are working with large panels this week and the circles you can really have some fun with.  Buttons, flowers – how about some butterflies?  Use your imagination with this one.

For my card I’ve used some of the new Twilight collection from Pink Paislee.  The paper I’ve used is called Sunset and I’ve used the front and the backside.  I’ve also used some of the Press On Transfers (aka rub ons) from the same collection.  The heavenly silk ribbon is from May Arts and the buttons are from my stash!  Notice the two lines of sparkly dots on my card.  That is my texture.  To be honest I forgot all about the theme and added it last minute, lol! :)

  1. First of all, you are HILARIOUS! Secondly… LOVE this card! I’m not into Halloween too much, but I can’t get over the cuteness factor here. :-) Love it all! The twine… that’s texture… and the distressed looked of your striped PP, that’s what they call “faux” texture. ;-) lol…. This was a fun challenge… can’t wait for the next one! :-)
