This week’s Clean and Simple challenge (CAS36) over at Splitcoaststampers is a technique challenge: Thumping! Thumping is really easy and the results are fabulous. If you’ve never tried Thumping but want to know more about it, Splitcoaststampers has a great step-by-step tutorial (with pictures!) which you can find HERE.
I broke out a much neglected but very loved stamp set from Stampin’ Up, Essence of Love. I first inked up my stamp in Real Red ink then took an Elegant Eggplant marker and tapped the tip of the marker at random spots on the stamp, then I stamped the image on the cardstock. Easy peasy!
Today over on the DRS Designs blog I have a card posted, so if you are in the neighborhood, go check it out HERE.Stamps: Essence of Love (Stampin’ Up!) Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white); Stampin’ Up (elegant eggplant) Ink: Stampin’ Up (real red, elegant eggplant marker) Accessories: silver pearls (Michaels); red floss (Bazzill)
