Embellish Magazine Blog Hop

How exciting!  Today is the big blog hop with Embellish Magazine!  To celebrate the premiere issue of Embellish Magazine, Ashley Cannon Newell has organized today’s blog hop with a bunch of the designers from the magazine.  If you came across my blog not following the hop, why not start back at the beginning at the Embellish Magazine blog, which can be found HERE!

This issue is truly amazing and has some awesome ideas when it comes to using twine!  I had fun coming up with my card for today using the same theme of red, turquoise, brown and kraft paired with twine.  I tried to keep my card simple to allow the rolled fabric flower to be the focal point of my card.

I’ve used a couple of different Papertrey Ink background sets (Polka Dot Basics and Text Style) paired with some Maya Road hat pins and a rolled fabric flower from my Etsy shop.

Don’t forget to leave comments on each blog you visit!  Embellish is offering four prizes for 10 lucky winners.  The winners will be randomly selected from each of the blog hop participant blogs.  Each comment you leave gives you an entry to win one of the prizes which include Lawn Fawn stamps, May Arts twine, subscription to Embellish Magazine and A New Design crinkly stained ribbon.

Here is a list of the participants:

  1. I love your flower version and some many of the ideas on your blog. I have been in a slump as well–buit this may be just what the doctor ordered–the blog hop. Thank you for sharing your designs!
