Hello everybodeeeeeee! How’s it hanging? We’ve been having some crazy HOT weather lately. We rent our house and it doesn’t have A/C, so we’ve been melting daily! We bought a swamp cooler a couple months ago but even that hasn’t been enough for us lately. So…. we bought an above-ground POOL! Woo hoo! We just finished figuring out the chemicals that are needed and tomorrow we should be able to go out in it! I’m *SO* excited!! :) My new swimsuit was just delivered today, so I’m all ready for tomorrow!
I have a card to share with you today! I was playing with my scraps a lot last week and this is one of the results. The tag is American Crafts/Amy Tangerine and the paper is a mix of Echo Park, Lily Bee Design and maybe someone else? I lost track! :)
I hope you are having a great week! Only one more day until Friday FUN day! Enjoy!
Hello and welcome to Wednesday! I don’t have much to say so I’ll just get right along to the card I’m sharing today. I got some Amy Tangerine papers recently and whipped this card up last week. It came together very quickly – I love these kinds of cards!! Well that’s it for me today. I hope you’re having a great week!! :)

Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (raspberry fizz)

Hi there! It’s Tuesday and a somewhat quiet day in my house. I’ve skipped doing chores in favor of crafting today. Shhh, don’t tell! ;)
Moxie Fab World posted a new Tuesday Trigger today and I had to play along. Nearly every Christmas growing up my mom would make Jell-O cookies and they were among my favorites to snack on as a child. I haven’t had them in years, so when I saw them as this week’s Trigger, I knew I wanted to play along! I used the bright colors and the shape of cookies as inspiration for my card. My sentiment is of the encouraging kind to fit in with the Gallery Idol contest as well.
Stamps: Wilson Designs (Let’s Rock)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white, smokey shadow)
Patterned Paper (American Crafts Amy Tangerine collection)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (fountain pen)
Accessories: The Twinery (bakers twine); May Arts (ribbon); Buttons Galore & More (button)
Other: sewing machine, thread
Hello! Happy Tuesday! Sorry it’s been so quiet around the blog lately. My creativity level has been down in the dumps lately, so not much new being made. That being said, I do have a CAS/scrappy card to share with you today. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment.
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (sentiment – Priceless Joy)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (fountain pen )
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white)
Patterned Paper: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan)
Accessories: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan – rosette badge, label sticker)
Monday already? The weekend went by way too fast, as usual. I spent a lot of my weekend getting some project kits ready for classes I’m teaching next month. My first class isn’t for another couple of weeks but I know the time will fly by so I figured I would get a head start! Somewhere in between die cutting and border punching I spent a little time making a Dear Lizzy Neapolitan card with a Mint Motif sentiment. Looking at the picture I think I should have threaded the button with some jute twine but forgot. Oops!
Thank you for stopping by! I hope the start to your week is a productive one!! :)
While bouncing around Etsy yesterday I came across a really cool looking necktie. Of course I can’t find it again, but it was striped and silky and just looked cool. My card today is inspired from this cannot-be-found-again necktie!
I debated at the end about putting the staples on the card. I’m thinking now I should have just left them off. Good thing about staples – they are easy to remove! :)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (kraft)
Accessories: American Crafts (ribbon, alphabet stickers); My Little Shoebox (alphabet stickers); Tim Holtz staples
I haven’t used chipboard in a while, so I broke out some Maya Road and covered it with some Bazzill paper, a few pieces of American Crafts chipboard and my card is done! I really like how this one turned out.
