The Sundays

After going back and forth on whether or not to try my hand at couponing, I finally decided last week to give it a go.  I signed up for a newspaper subscription and my new Sunday morning routine is all about the couponing!  It literally took me all day to get signed up for my local grocery store’s programs, print out coupons and match them up with store coupons.  Then I took what was on sale and planned out our meals for the week.   After shopping today, we saved 33% on our groceries.  I know each week it will get better and we’ll have bigger savings once I get a good stash of coupons. Maybe one day I’ll have a killer haul like Michelle!  :)

So that was my day.  I had a cup of coffee at 5pm to keep me going tonight so hopefully it doesn’t wake me up too much that I can’t fall sleep later!  :)   Right now I should be baking some raisin bran muffins and then brownies for tomorrow but I’m not feeling it right now, so I’ll do it in the morning. :)

I’ll leave you with a picture of Parker, one of my sweet kitties.  She’s actually more of teenager cat than a kitty at this point, but adorable in any case!

Cards and Such

So it just dawned on me that I haven’t made a card in like a week!  I’ve been working on some craft show items mostly and haven’t taken pics of anything.  I suppose I should? The craft show I’m working on is on August 28, so I’ve still got a decent amount of time left. I’ve just been moving really slowly in regards to creating lately, that I’m trying to get as much of a head start as possible! I’ll see if I can’t get something posted tonight or tomorrow.  Be well!

Quietness & Kittens

Hello!  I haven’t dropped of the face of the blog-o-sphere.  Just been busy working on my last Dirty Dozen gallery for July.  It opens up next week and I’m almost done.  Just need to do another project or two!  So because I have nothing crafty to show, I’m going to leave you with a picture of Parker.  Isn’t he the cutest?  hehe!

A Hambly Birthday

This card pretty much made itself.  It was easy from beginning to finish.  If only all cards were like that, lol!  The patterned paper and rub-ons are from Hambly.  The sentiment is Practicing Creativity.  Great stuff!

And another Parker & Posey picture.  They are so much easier to take pics of when they aren’t moving, lol.  Sleepy time is picture-taking time!

Have a great Sunday!!
