Happy Friday! :) So I have some super happy good news to share! After being unemployed for almost exactly a year, I finally got a new job! Woo hoo! :) Can you tell I’m just a little excited? Hah! I start my new job on Wednesday and am looking forward to it!!
I have a super busy card to share today. I’m loving the colors of this patterned paper from My Minds Eye and kept putting more and more onto my card, lol. Way busier than my usual stuff, but sometimes you just gotta go with it! I paper pieced the bee and used some of my favorite May Arts ribbon.
I hope you all have a great weekend! My new job is business casual and I am finding that I don’t have much in that department, so I get to do some clothes shopping! :) See you back here on Sunday with my final Paper Made Bakery sneak!
Hello and a big welcome back to me! My CHA commitments are officially done and I can return to some sense of normalcy back on the blog-o! I’m so happy to be back and creating for ME once again! :) I hope to get caught up on my blog reading in the next day or so.
I have a card to share with you today. This is a card that was submitting to a recent pub call but didn’t get picked up. Don’t you hate when that happens? :)) But the silver lining to that is now I get to share it with you!
Hello and happy half-way to Friday! :)
I recently won a couple stamp sets from The Alley Way Stamps and while playing around with this cute kitchen set, I made this card. I love the color combo which is mostly provided by Lily Bee Designs Buttercup collection. This is easily my favorite collection right now. Love it!! The fun ribbon is by May Arts. :)
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (Kitchen Gadgets)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (kraft, white, hibiscus burst)
Patterned Paper: Lily Bee Design (Buttercup collection)
Ink: Ranger / Jenni Bowlin (fountain pen)
Accessories: May Arts (ribbon); Hemptique (bakers twine)
Tools: EK Success (corner rounder)
Last night I went to the Queen Bee Market here in San Diego with a couple of friends and had SO much fun!! I loved “window” shopping and gathering inspiration for future projects in addition to spending time with friends. :) The rest of my weekend is fairly low key, mostly crafting and napping! :)
I do have a card to share today. This one was made during the holiday weekend while crafting with my friend Kristie. I ended up getting five (!!) cards done and all from the same collection. I love it when I really use my supplies. So often I just use a very small piece of a collection and then get bored and move on from them. I always feel like it’s such a waste, so this was good! :)
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (Jibber Jabber)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white)
Ink: Ranger / Jenni Bowlin (spice tin)
Accessories: Simple Stories (kite, cloud, chevron, tag, celebrate stickers)
I had some free time so I thought I would get a challenge done today. I don’t participate in challenges often, but I like to when I can. I was in the mood to make a baby card, so I played along with the Be Inspired challenge and used one of my favorite baby sets, Priceless Joy.
I was inspired not only by the colors, but the bird too!
I used the face of the bumble bee in the set as the bird’s nest. I just inked it up and then wiped off the ink on the eye and then stamped. The bird is paper pieced and popped up.
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (Priceless Joy)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white, kraft, fine linen, canyon clay, spring moss)
Patterned Paper: Lily Bee Design (Butterscotch and Head Over Heals collections)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (brown sugar)
Accessories: May Arts (jute twine)
Tools: Stampin Up (scallop border punch)
Hello! Happy Tuesday! Sorry it’s been so quiet around the blog lately. My creativity level has been down in the dumps lately, so not much new being made. That being said, I do have a CAS/scrappy card to share with you today. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment.
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (sentiment – Priceless Joy)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (fountain pen )
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white)
Patterned Paper: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan)
Accessories: American Crafts (Dear Lizzy Neapolitan – rosette badge, label sticker)
Happy Thursday, friends! I’m back today with a simple but cute (I think!) baby card using stamps from The Alley Way Stamps, patterned paper from Authentique and chipboard stickers from American Crafts. I love how cute this bee is and wanted it to be the focus of my card, so I opted to replace the “O” in boy with the bee!
We’re on the downward spiral towards the weekend! Here’s to you having a great rest of the week!! :) I should be back in the next day or two with something new to share!
