Mint Motif: Lots of Love

Hello and happy Wednesday!  Today I start a new diet.  Not a diet as in to lose weight diet (although I need one of those too!).  I mean diet in the sense of a new way to eat.  I’ve been having problems with energy/sleepiness for months and I’m finally making it a priority to figure it all out.  I’m hoping I get some resolution soon, I really need it!

Okay, so enough about my health woes.  I’ve got a card to share!  I’m playing along with this week’s CAS-ual Fridays challenge, Name That Tune.  I’m a huge music fan and a lover of all things CAS, so this is the perfect challenge for me.

Since my hubby and I just celebrated our fifth anniversary, I’m still on a love kick, so I made a lovey card today.  I chose “Piece of My Heart” by Janis Joplin as the inspiration for my card.  A classic song and a personal favorite of mine!  :)

Stamps: i {heart} papers Mint Motif (Beyond Borders, Too and Simply Sentiments)
Paper: Papertrey Ink (white)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (cough syrup)
Accessories: jute twine (May Arts); button

  2. Such a fun and cute card! Love the polka dots. And good luck with the new diet – hope you find something that works for you! I want to cut out more sugar, but that’s a tough one – it’s in everything!
