Congrats! Balloons

Happy Saturday!  Happy three day weekend!  This is one of the few holidays that my hubby gets off, so that makes me extra happy!!  :)  While I plan to spend lots of time with him this weekend, I also have plans tonight to get together with a girlfriend for crafting and pizza!

I recently got the Sweet Day collection from Echo Park and made a few cards with it earlier this week.  This is one of those cards.  I love the muted colors in this collection. It’s all very warm and fuzzy to me.  Happy sigh…

Hello and welcome to Wednesday!  I don’t have much to say so I’ll just get right along to the card I’m sharing today.  I got some Amy Tangerine papers recently and whipped this card up last week.  It came together very quickly – I love these kinds of cards!!  Well that’s it for me today.  I hope you’re having a great week!!  :)

My Cup of Tea

Hello and happy Monday!  It’s been a couple of days since I shared something new, so I thought I’d hop on here and blog something quickly!  I’m all about the quick today.  :)

I spent today at a friend’s house papercrafting and I made a layout.  Yep, you heard right – I scrapbooked!  I still need to do some embellishing but the overall layout is done and I must say I really like how it’s turning out.

I have another card to share today using more of Claudine Hellmuth’s 3D Pop Art Stickers available exclusively on HSN.  To help pull the card together I used some Lawn Fawn stamps.  I really love how this card turned out!

I hope you are having a great start to your week!  I know I am!!  :)

Hi There, Spring!

Happy Friday afternoon!  I’ve had a crazy productive crafty week so I’m a little sad we’re heading into the weekend already.  I hope my crafting streak continues through to next week.  That would rock!!  Most are for publication calls so nothing I can show, but I did make a simple spring card using Mint Motif/Lawn Fawn stamps and some Claudine Hellmuth chipboard.

Supplies used

Stamps: i {heart} papers Mint Motif (Beyond Borders); Lawn Fawn (Sophie’s Sentiments)
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink (white, aqua mist)
Ink: Jenni Bowlin (fountain pen)
Accessories: chipboard (Claudine Hellmuth Sweet Treats)
Tools: Stampin Up modern label punch

Friday Night Lights

TGIF, right?  My plans for this weekend include sleeping in, napping and maybe doing a little something productive.  Or maybe not…!  Either way, it will include a whole lot of crafting!  I seem to have found some mojo while walking the aisles of CHA so I’m going to take advantage and use it while I got it!

For my card I’ve used Webster’s Pages Sunday Picnic patterned paper and one of the matching journaling cards.  A couple buttons,  some bright pink ribbon and it’s finished off with a Lawn Fawn sentiment (Sophie’s Sentiments).  This is one of my favorite layouts.  I haven’t used it in a while and all these pieces just fit, so here we are!

I Love Snow…I Mean, You

The night of Christmas Eve I sat down to specifically make a Christmas card to share on my blog for Christmas day.  This is the card I made.  Which didn’t really work as it’s not a Christmas card at all!  The Snow Days collection from Pink Paislee makes a perfect Valentine’s Day card.  I used my sewing machine to stitch a black line through “snow” and used stamps to turn it into “you”.

I photographed this at a weird angle.  It’s pretty straight on which I really dislike but I’ve got to get busy in the kitchen, so no time for a re-shoot!

Wedding Wishes

Here is a card I made for a pub call a long time ago that I never bothered to submit!  I think I lost track of time and ended up missing the deadline – oops!!  The theme was wedding (I think?)…

Tales of a Monday

This morning I’m taking my two girl kitties in to get spayed.  I’m so stressed about it, I’m making my hubby take today and tomorrow off so he can come with me to drop them off/pick them up and then monitor them tomorrow.  *sigh*  I know it will be fine but I can’t help but feel tense about it.

I didn’t craft much over the weekend, but have a card I made a couple weeks ago that I haven’t blogged about yet!  This is a fun card using a PTI background and some Lawn Fawn banner/sentiments.

Crafty Fun!

Yesterday I got to spend my day card making with a bunch of other crafters (card makers and knitters mostly) – I had a lot of fun – thanks again Debbie! :)

Here is a card I made for a recent pub call that didn’t get picked up.  I don’t care for this card either (big surprise!).  But I do love the stamps (Lawn Fawn)!

A Lazy Afternoon

So it’s Sunday afternoon and I’m still in my pjs… I love days like this!  I spent the majority of my morning lounging around being lazy.  So lazy, that even when I made a card today, I did a CASE of this card.  No originality in my bones today.  Maybe tomorrow.

I do have a card to show that isn’t a CASE.  I was inspired by a stamp in this set.  Can you guess which one?

And here is my card using a Lawn Fawn set, Just My Type Too, probably my favorite that I own (I don’t have the newest release yet!)

Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics
Ink: Versamark
